Evelyne Ngane Epie APRN, MSN, FNP-BC
Evelyne Ngane Epie APRN, MSN, FNP-BC is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and co-founder of Assumption Health and wellness Center, LLC. After acquiring a Bachelor’s in English Private law, her passion for humanity brought her to the doorsteps of the caring profession of nursing. Given her soft and very compassionate nature, Evelyne was quick to realize that she had found her niche. Friendly, gracious, humane, kind, gentle, loving, thoughtful, empathic and “compassionate” that is Evelyne in a nutshell! She is a firm believer in Evidence-Based Practice with all the benefits that come along with it; potential reduction in healthcare costs, boosting efficiency and ultimately improving overall patient care quality.
Having found her niche in the caring profession, she started off as a certified nursing assistant, working her way up as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), associate degree Nurse (ADN), Bachelor of Science Nurse (BSN) and Master of Science Nurse (MSN). Evelyne is currently serving her patients as a family nurse practitioner. Prior to becoming a provider, she had 19 years of nursing experience under her belt as a medical surgical Registered Nurse. She has worked in some of the best hospitals in the DFW metroplex most of them with magnet redesignation; Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Dallas, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Methodist Dallas Medical Center & Parkland Memorial Hospital, just to name a few.
Evelyne is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 5 years of experience in Family Practice. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2017 from South University in Savannah Georgia.
With a focus on disease prevention and maintenance, Evelyne ensures that her patients are equipped with a good understanding of their disease process through patient teaching, thereby making them an integral part of their care. Evelyne believes that when patients are partners in their care, positive outcomes are inevitable! Weight- loss management, geriatrics, men/women’s health and paediatrics are her areas of interest.
Evelyne is an active member of several professional organisations, including the American Nurses Association (ANA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) & the Texas Nurse Practitioners association, (TNP).
She and her team of healthcare professionals are committed to providing safe, quality, compassionate care in a patient- centred environment.
At Assumption Health and wellness Center we focus on preventive care through regular check-ups, and we manage your illnesses to ensure the overall wellness of our patients. Your health is truly our priority!
When she is not busy seeing patients Evelyne enjoys event decorating, travelling, shopping, cooking and attending her traditional and women’s church group meetings.
